Privacy Policy

The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. I treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

The use of my website is generally possible without providing personal data. Where personal data (for example, name, telephone numbers, or email addresses) is collected on my pages, this is, where possible, always done on a voluntary basis. In accordance with this privacy policy, this data may in some cases be shared with third parties.

I would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (for example, communication by email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Hosting Provider and Server Log Files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to me. This includes:

  • IP address

  • Browser type and version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be directly attributed to specific individuals. This data is not combined with other data sources. I reserve the right to review this data retrospectively if there is concrete evidence of unlawful use.

Adobe Fonts

This website uses Adobe Fonts, a service provided by Adobe Inc., 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA (“Adobe”), to display certain typefaces consistently. When you open a page, your browser loads the required fonts directly from Adobe’s servers in order to display text correctly.

For this purpose, your browser must establish a connection to Adobe’s servers. This allows Adobe to learn that this website was accessed via your IP address. Adobe Fonts is used in the interest of a consistent and appealing presentation of my website, which constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

According to Adobe, no cookies are set when the fonts are loaded. A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Further information can be found in Adobe’s privacy policy at https://www.adobe.com/privacy/policy.html and specifically regarding Adobe Fonts at https://www.adobe.com/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html.

Web Analytics with Plausible

This website uses Plausible Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia). Plausible helps me understand how my website is used – such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from – in order to improve it.

Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data that can identify individuals. Your IP address is not stored; it is only used briefly to count returning visits and is then discarded. No tracking across websites or devices takes place.

All data is aggregated and processed exclusively on servers within the EU; no transfer to third countries takes place. This is done in the interest of privacy-friendly, data-minimising analytics and constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Further information can be found at https://plausible.io/data-policy.

Appointment Scheduling via Cal.com

To arrange appointments, I link to the online scheduling service Cal.com (available at cal.eu), provided by Cal.com, Inc. When you click the booking link, you are redirected to the Cal.com platform.

No Cal.com scripts are loaded on my own website and no data is transmitted to Cal.com unless you actively use the link. Only when you book an appointment there is the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, and appointment details) processed by Cal.com.

The processing of your data on the Cal.com platform is governed by their privacy policy, which you can find at https://cal.com/privacy.

SSL Encryption

For reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to me as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser begins with "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.

Right to Information, Deletion, and Restriction

You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correction, restriction, or deletion of this data. For this and for further questions regarding personal data, you can contact me at any time at the address provided in the legal notice.
